Hypnotherapy Script Writer

Overview

We are looking for experienced hypnotherapists able to combine their knowledge of hypnotherapy with a flair for creative writing to help expand our hypnosis scripts collection.

Responsibilities

The script writer will be assigned a script topic and asked to produce a hypnotherapy script approximately 5-6 pages in length for publication by Hypnotic World. Scripts need not usually include an induction or deepener unless specified for the individual project. The topic should be well-researched prior to writing the script. Successful applicants will have the following competencies:

• Writing skills - applicants should be able to write original works, creatively in English and with good spelling and grammar, and to produce imaginative, novel experiences which address the topic of the hypnosis script.
• Comprehensive hypnotherapy training which meets the requirements of local laws in order to practise as a hypnotherapist. A knowledge of sensory description and ability to write effective metaphors and hypnotic patter are essential.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a hypnotherapist practising with clients on a one-to-one basis.

Location

Script writers may work from their own home or office and submit work online (e.g. by email or project management system).

Hours

This is a part-time position - script writing commissions will be assigned depending on demand and the availability of the script writer.

Remuneration

Payment for this position is on a per-project basis. Payment would be made upon the successful completion of each script writing project.
