Meet the Team

Faith Waude DHP Acc. Hyp.

Faith gained her Diploma in Hypnotherapy in 1994 and has since helped thousands of people to overcome addictions, fears and phobias and many other problems.  She still runs a busy hypnotherapy practice as well as an ever expanding training course.  Students have the assurance of knowing that they are receiving training from an experienced hypnotherapist.

Faith was featured in BBC1's Kick the Habit program in summer 2000 where a number of people tried different methods to quit smoking.  Faith's subject was the only one who managed to quit.  She was also the resident hypnotherapist on Magic AM's radio station for several months and has appeared in several newspaper reports.  She regularly receives and responds to enquiries for help from leading magazines.

John Sellars Dip.Hyp, FSSCH

John hosts Hypnotic World's hypnotherapy training workshops in Glasgow, Scotland, and draws on over 25 years' experience as a hypnotherapist. Based in Scotland, but also available for consultations in Sheffield, John has developed his own unique method of helping clients with depression which is outlined in his new book that is about to released.

Eileen Wellings GHR(reg), MASC, (NLP)(Ad P.Th), Dip.Hyp

Eileen hosts our hypnotherapy training workshops in Guildford, Surrey. Since training as a hypnotherapist more than 15 years ago, Eileen's experience has involved working with a wide variety of clients. She has seen clients with issues including phobias, weight loss and stop smoking, as well as anxiety, IBS, stress and other stress-related problems. She is also trained in hypnosis for birthing and hypnotension, and has counselling qualifications. Eileen is based in Leatherhead, Surrey.

Adam Waude

Adam holds a degree in English gained from UCLAN (University of Central Lancashire) and has also studied psychology and politics.  He has travelled extensively around the world and lived and studied for long periods in the U.S. and New Zealand.

Adam's flair for design and websites started from a very early age and he has since developed other successful sites, including Psychologist World for which a combined subscription is available here.

Stephen Armstrong DHP

Stephen is our dedicated recording artiste who has produced most of the audio files on Hypnotic World.

He is also a script contributor, adviser and test manager and holds a Diploma in Hypnotherapy.

Steve has hosted many of the workshops run by Hypnotic World and has also trained in EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) on a course run by Gary Craig.

Daniella Portner PhD, DHP

Dr Daniella Portner is a qualified Hypnotherapist who works and resides in the beautiful English city of York.

Daniella has written numerous scripts for Hypnotic World and she also produced the Gastric Band Manual for Professional Hypnotherapists.

David North

David North is a contributor of material on Hypnotic World and has more than 14 years' experience in hypnotherapy. David trained with the Proudfoot School of Hypnosis in Scarborough. He has taught doctors and nurse how to utilize hypnosis in hospital settings as well as running a successful hypnotherapy practice in Yorkshire.
