Meet the Presenter
Chris Willingham Mncp ADPR SQHP DCH: Chris has studied psychology for the last 18 years with numerous universities. He has studied towards PhD level in psychology and psychotherapy and for one of his academic courses, Chris studied the humanistic approach to psychology during which time, Carl Rogers' Client-Centred approach to counselling inspired his interest. Chris then volunteered with the Samaritans and completed their training in 2012. Face-to-face consultations with callers helped him to realise that he wanted to become a counselling psychologist/psychotherapist. and he began teaching psychology at A-level in 2015 at Grimsby Institute University and St Wilfrids. Chris now holds the title of "Fellow" with the National Council of Integrative therapist (NCIP) for his work in psychotherapy.
