About Heather
Heather graduated from Glasgow University with a Masters Degree in Psychology in 1998. From there she went into the Call Centre industry working in analytical, people-oriented roles. A few years ago, she decided that she needed to get back to her roots and work to help people, and so she became a Reiki practitioner in her spare time.
Heather has always had an interest in hypnotherapy as a therapeutic tool and she firmly believes that hypnotherapy can achieve positive lasting changes.
Heather undertook rigorous and comprehensive hypnotherapy training at Hypnosis Scotland, who are affiliated with the UK Academy of Therapeutic Arts and Sciences. She qualified with her Diploma in Clinical and Advanced Hypnosis (Dip CAH) and her Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma (HPD) which is the nationally recognised Hypnotherapy Qualification, externally verified by the NCFE. Heather is also a qualified NLP Practitioner, a licensed Hypno-Band™ practitioner, and a Hypno-Birthing practitioner.
She has also undertaken many specialist Hypnotherapy courses over the years. Some of these have been on Depression, Anxiety, Weight Management, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Inner Child Therapy.

Stop Smoking
Thank you Heather for your help in stopping smoking. I had been smoking for 47 years and tried lots of ways to stop, without success. After seeing you at the beginning of August 2014 I have not smoked at all for more than 4 months. Fantastic!
