I have two grown daughters. I have been happily married for over 35 years to Dorothy Rice, R.N. She is a psychiatric nurse who works with me in our clinic with couples, families and children.
My hobbies are yard work, eating out, and watching T.V.

Training & Qualifications
I have beein in practice for 35 years, first as a school psychologist, and then as a clinical psychologist. I got my Ph.D. at Washington State University. My internship was at the University of Oregon Medical School, and the VA hospital in Portland, Oregon. I had a post-doctoral fellowship in behavioral psychology at Harvard Medical School. I have had training in hypnosis at the Ethical Hypnosic Training Clinic in New York City, and in several other locations and trainers. I have had training by the National Association of Cognitive Behavior Therspists. I am certified by them as a Rational Hypnotherapist.
