If your light has been dimmed by the overwhelm of daily life, if past trauma or woundedness are holding you back, if you are stuck in survival mode or have lost touch with who you are or what your purpose is, then you are at the right place.
I’m not the kind of therapist who expects you to have it all together. You can show up in your chaos, your numbness, your “WTF am I doing with my life?” — and we’ll work from there. I help sensitive, soulful people move through emotional overwhelm, burnout, and identity collapse, especially when nothing makes sense anymore.
My approach is grounded, body-aware, intuitive, and gently transformative. Whether you're in the thick of a breakup, grieving the loss of who you used to be, or trying to find peace after years of holding it all together — you don’t have to do it alone. You’re not broken. You’re becoming 💕
My Experience
Having had my fair share of trauma and woundedness over the years I desperately tried to figure out what people meant by "you just have to let go of the past". What does that even mean and how do you go about that?
It wasn't until I started this work I realised it wasn't so much about 'letting go', it was about making peace with the past and present. That didn't mean I liked what happened or where I was at for that matter, it meant that I had to strip away the emotions surrounding the events so I could perceive them for what they were. Only then was I able to 'move on' and stop feeling stuck in my survival mode with its' consequences of negative thoughts, repeat patterns, mental health issues and a chronic health condition.
So, if you're light has been dimmed by past experiences, if you experience negative repeat patterns or are stuck in chronic survival mode and you are ready to not let it drag you down any longer, then I have the framework to help you make peace with the now and define a new vision of your future.

Life Changing
Carla has truly changed my life for the better. After our sessions I feel more powerful within myself, I have been able to clear old past trauma and also create a positive outlook to my future. I now feel that I have had movement and the heaviness has lifted. There is no more dark cloud and it is truly because of Carla and her sessions. She is so approachable that I could be completely free to talk which helped me. She is amazing and I would highly recommend Carla for anyone who is seeking self help.

Truly Dedicated To Her Craft
Carla has an incredibly vast amount of tools and experience, and the difference in confidence and drive I’ve noticed since I did her 4 session package has been surprisingly impressive. I’ve also learned so much about myself throughout the experience, and got so many opportunities for inner healing, and also to meet my future self which was fun. Her hypnosis is also incredible, i’m usually unaffected, but I can’t seem to stay conscious for the one she recorded and sent to me. When I do stay awake, I get snippets of dialogue, which I’ve noticed myself repeating the day or so before, showing its effectiveness. Her workspace is gorgeous and she has such a lovely welcoming energy, she’s truly dedicated to her craft, and it shows.

I’m In Awe Of Her Work
I met Carla through work and instantly connected with her due to her warmth and open friendly manner. After a period of time she mentioned that she worked as a hypnotherapist. For some time I had considered hypnotherapy for past trauma but hadn’t quite settled on the right person, but I knew carla was the person to guide me through my journey.
My first session arrived and I was nervous and worried that I’d not be able to be hypnotised but she quickly alleviated those fears. Her gentle approach meant that I felt safe and secure and the experience was truly transformative, the resources she made for me to use and her follow up care meant that I had a new toolkit for life.
We worked through past trauma and also did a 'future' session where I got to 'meet' my future self as if I had achieved what I wanted to achieve and I had such profound experiences! At each time after my session Carla checked in on me to see how I was feeling and provided me again with resources to support me at home.
I’m in awe of her work and of the wonderful person she is. I could not recommend her enough and know I’ve made a lifelong connection. Thank you for your care and passion Carla

Another Beautiful Session
Another beautiful session with my gorgeous friend Carla van Voorst. Our session tonight focused on what my Higher Self knows is possible for me and breaking through the barriers we create for ourselves.
I have had the most amazing life changes with the help of Carla, from curing my morning sickness when I was pregnant, to making the last time I saw my dad unbelievably special, and precious.
I don't know the right words to describe Carla's methods. All I can say is there is nothing else out there that I have experienced the same, miracle-like results from.

A Wonderful Practitioner
Carla is a wonderful practitioner and I’m so grateful to have worked with her. She always created an open and warm space and made me feel safe to be vulnerable. She was super confident in delivering RCT sessions but also added so many wonderful insights from her personal experience. Carla is very genuine and caring, always checking in and following up and I truly felt that she cared. I’m grateful that Carla has contributed to my healing journey and would highly recommend her as a healer
