About Melanie
Hi, I'm Melanie Morgan, founder of Bannau Therapies, based in the heart of Bannau Brycheiniog, Brecon Beacons. I am a Clinical Hypnotherapist having achieved the Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma (HPD) from the Clinical Wellness Academy, Chester. I am also a Social Worker and work part time as a Primary Mental Health Practitioner in CAMHS (Children and Adolescent Mental Health Service).
I am dedicated to helping individuals overcome challenges, reduce stress, and achieve their personal wellness goals through clinical hypnotherapy, EMDR, Havening, Solution Focused Therapy, coaching and auricular acupuncture.
My approach to hypnotherapy uses a combination of my skills and training to provide practical, effective strategies that will help you make lasting, positive changes in your life. I will create a bespoke programme tailored specifically to meet your unique and individual goals.

My Experience
I have over 20 years of experience in Children's Social Services, working closely with children and their families through traumatic events. My professional journey includes six years working with children with a diverse range of disabilities, including neurodiversity. Currently, I work part-time for the Children and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS), where I support children and young people dealing with trauma, sensory processing issues, anxiety, and social interaction difficulties. In my private practice, I specialise in trauma, anxiety, and weight loss, whilst also providing a broad range of services traditionally associated with hypnotherapy.
