About Caitlin
Attuned Minds Therapy provides systemic, relational therapy services to individuals, couples, and families. We are committed to helping our clients work through their current challenges by connecting to themselves and others. This allows them to discover opportunities to create new relationships, new meanings, and new patterns of behavior.
I utilize a relational approach to therapy, helping my clients to conceptualize their problems as patterns of relationship so that they may experience greater freedom in how they relate to and experience their problems. (1)
Many of my therapeutic interventions are inspired by Taoists and Zen practitioners and I enjoy incorporating mindfulness-based practices into sessions that aim to support the health, well-being, and wholeness of my clients. I invite clients to get curious about the challenges that brought them into therapy.
My goal is to open up possibilities for clients to respond differently to the problems or symptoms that have been causing them distress.
I honor my clients as being the experts of their own lives, and I aim to help them experience significant change by connecting to their problems and values. Clients can expect conversations focused on what is working for them, what isn’t working for them, and what they may be able to start doing differently to reach their therapeutic goals.
By focusing on values, I help individuals determine how they can start behaving in ways that are in accordance with their values and ultimately enable them to live more fulfilling and meaningful lives.
