I have worked in the NHS for many years but have always believed there is more than the medical element itself and have a keen interest in alternative and complimentary therapies which can enhance the care and treatment given.

With this in mind I have taken myself on various training courses to further my knowledge and skills. I am also trained in Reiki but am interested in ‘healing’ as a whole.

For many years I was a Community Midwife but felt frustrated that I wasn’t able to give the care I would like to and that people deserve so I decided to look at something different, Hypnotherapy! I booked myself on a Hypnotherapy Taster Day and really enjoyed the day and saw for myself how effective the techniques are, it was ‘mind blowing’ and also fun! The mind is a very powerful tool and it does such a lot for us, that’s it, I was hooked. I enrolled on the Hypnotherapy Diploma with the Hampshire School of Hypnotherapy (HSOH) and was trained by one of the best Hypnotherapists in our area – Lorraine Gleeson.
