About Ainsley
My Experience
I am a qualified therapist with 18 years of experience, including 7 years running a successful practice in London. I specialise in Clinical Hypnotherapy and have a wealth of experience in social work. I now work full time as a therapist, specialising in trauma.
In 2022 I returned to my home country and am now offering services in Sydney, working with adults, children, and adolescents with various mental health issues, habitual problems and disorders.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to utilize my skills as both therapist and social worker in a variety of roles.
I’ve worked as a social worker in the Paediatric Emergency Department at Royal Northshore Hospital and had a meaningful experience working with Childline for four years, providing support to children who had experienced physical, sexual, or psychological abuse and neglect.
Additionally, I gained extensive experience as a Mental Health Social Counsellor at the Maudsley Hospital, the largest mental health hospital in England, where I provided crisis intervention and case management services.
I also worked at Kings College Hospital in the Emergency Department for 2 years as a Vulnerable adult Reporter, crisis Intervener, and family mediator.
I love my job because it’s diverse and every client is different. But the best part is putting a smile on their faces at the end of it all.
I look forward to working with you.
