I come from an Education background, having worked as an English teacher in secondary schools for over 25 years, gaining some experience in the primary sector during the pandemic in Support for Learning. I currently work part-time in my SfL role as well as an Equity teacher - a role that was established to assist pupils struggling from the effects of the pandemic - looking at whatever their barriers to learning are, whether emotional, behavioural or physical. It has given me the opportunity to educate these pupils from a different perspective, to increase their confidence in themselves and to feel positively about learning experiences.

I, like other hypnotherapists, came to hypnotherapy through personal need, and discovering the benefits, was inspired to study this wonderful therapy. For many, the pandemic brought to the surface many previous issues that had remained unacknowledged and were dealing with the effects unsupported and unsure of what support was available. Hypnotherapy shows there is support that lies in the power of your own unconscious mind that can be accessed whenever there is need.

Completing my training at the Scottish Academy of Hypnosis and Mind Therapies, I am also trained in Using Mindfulness in Hypnotherapy and Emotional Freedom Techniques and use these methods as part of my skillset to help others overcome their everyday fears and issues.  Hypnotism is a powerful tool for unlocking the potential for people to heal themselves and to reinforce their strengths. Working together, I can guide you to find the light within.
