About Victoria
There are times in our lives that can get pretty tough. You may feel like you are stuck, directionless and generally dissatisfied. Or you may be struggling with something more specific, a difficult situation, anxiety or circumstances that feel completely overwhelming and out of control. Likewise you might be experiencing difficulties in relationships, feel isolated or struggling with the way you see/feel about yourself in one way or another.
Any of these may be a signal that it's time to look beyond yourself to help make sense of those feelings or situation and find some kind of resolution. This is where I may be able to help.
Victoria Archer; I offer an integrative Psychotherapy which draws on a broad base of theoretical models and techniques. However, the founding principle that many of the difficulties we experience in the present are rooted in the past.
I offer a safe space where we can work through the issues you might want to explore without judgement or expectation. I believe that real and lasting change can be achieved through therapy. It may take some time and it wont always be easy but over time you can experience relief from personal difficulties, develop- a stronger sense of who you are and find the power deep inside you to accomplish anything.
As someone who has made a lot of use of nature and hypnotherapy/mindfulness, journaling and music for my therapeutic expressions. This has brought particular interest in using these creative means to explore feelings and find meanings when it is difficult to put it in words.
I have trained to work with:
* How negative childhood experiences can affect us in the present
* Shame and self acceptance
*low self-esteem and confidence
*Explorations of identity and sexuality
*Stress, overwhelm and anxiety
*Feeling stuck and having no direection
* Depression
* Bereavement
* Anger and resentment
* Helping find the voice of empowerment
I offer face to face appointments and remote sessions, as well as being mobile, So i can come to you if that suits your needs better. I work with children, adolescence and adults of all ages.
