About Joanne
My name is Jo Robinson and I live and work in the Port Town of Goole. I am a trained Reiki Practitioner as well as being a Clinical Hypnotherapist. Throughout my working life and before training in Reiki and Hypnotherapy I have always been involved in the Caring Sector.
I have worked supporting Families with under 5 year olds, behaviourally challenged teenagers and adults with mental health issues and survivors of domestic violence.
I then had to take time out to deal with my own health issues which led me to training as hypnotherapist and reiki practitioner as I use techniques taught by both to manage my own conditions which lead to pain and anxiety.
Due to my background and experience I am able to bring a unique insight into my approach with each and every client.
I bring a calming, caring quality into my professional practice.
My Experience
My Clients have come for therapy for a range of different reasons over the past 4 years and my training has allowed me to help each of them. The reason for seeking therapy range from Childhood Trauma, Grief, Fear of the Dentist, Anxiety and Pain Management, Anger Management, Weight loss and Stop Smoking.
I have updated my training with new techniques in Anxiety Management, Menopause, Law of Attraction and Parts Therapy.
Parts Therapy enabled me to help a Client who at first wanted to reduce their daily alcohol intake and then to stop drinking altogether, they contacted me recently to inform me they are now 8 months sober.
I am currently updating my Weight Loss training with Sheila Granger Virtual Gastric Band.
