Lorraine Bennington 40+ Years As A Hypnotist, Masters Of Education In Counselling (1979)

Lorraine began her study of hypnosis at age 21, long before that modality had entered the public eye, led there by a fascination with the human psyche and an attraction to understanding the depths of the mind.  She pursued her graduate studies at McGill University, earning a Master’s degree in Counselling in 1979.

In addition to hypnosis, Lorraine frequently incorporates energy healing modalities such as EFT into her work. These practices combine eastern philosophies with western understanding of the mind, utilizing such techniques as “tapping” acupuncture points or Chinese meridian points to assist with many conditions, including the reduction of fears and worries, self sabotage patterns, negative self talk (runaway thoughts or circular thinking) and insomnia.

In addition, Lorraine studied huna (Hawaiian shamanic teachings) and ho’oponopono during her decade of living on Kauai and Maui and incorporates those teachings into her coaching. She trained under Dr. Serge King (author of The Urban Shaman) and was also influenced/impacted by the teachings of Morna Simeone.

Since the early 1980's, Lorraine has led success seminars.  These seminars essentially marked the birth of her role as a coach, inspiring women to be confident in their professions and their personal lives.
