Hi, I'm Denise — founder of Health & Mind Co. and a qualified hypnotherapist with over eight years of experience helping people feel calmer, clearer, and more connected to themselves.

Before stepping into the world of mind-body healing full time, I worked in the NHS for over a decade — first as a ward sister, then as a Senior Research Nurse at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals. I trained in hypnotherapy over eight years ago while still working clinically, and after seeing the powerful results it created, I made the decision to leave my NHS role and fully dedicate myself to this work.

I've supported people through some of life's most emotionally complex and vulnerable moments — and that deep, hands-on experience informs everything I do today. 

At the heart of my work is hypnotherapy — a powerful, gentle way to calm the nervous system, ease anxiety, and shift deeply held patterns. I also integrate coaching, NLP, mindfulness, and somatic techniques, tailoring each session to meet your unique needs and goals.

I support people moving through stress, panic, emotional overwhelm and the impact of midlife shifts — helping you feel more balanced, resilient, and in control of your emotional wellbeing.

Prices start from £349 for 1:1 personal support (3 sessions), with other options available including VIP days group programs and workplace wellbeing workshops.
