About Dr David
Hello my name is Dr David Postlethwaite I offer an affordable home visiting service across the North east of England. I am based in Newcastle upon Tyne but I will travel as far as Morpeth in the North of the region Middlesbrough and Darlington in the South, Whitley Bay in the East and Hexham and Corbridge in the West and all points between.
I have been in practice for over 25 years and have an extremely high success record, almost all issues can be dealt with using just one session of Hypnotherapy.
I also offer a Skype Hypnotherapy service nationally and internationally for those people outside my area. All of my therapies are also available in CD format and MP3 download from my website.

I originally trained as Hypnotherapist with La Roche in 1991. IN 1992 I attended Newcastle University and obtained an advanced certificate in Counseling. 1994 - 97 BSc Psychology University of Sunderland. 97 - 99. PGCE New College Durham. 2005 - 12 PhD in Psychology and Education

Vulvadynia
Hypnotherapy for Vulvadynia I'd been suffering with Vulvadynia for many years and tried all sorts of treatments. I was turned away from the doctors as they were unable to diagnose my symptoms and felt as though no one or anything could help me. That's until I eventually plucked up the courage to discuss this with someone close to me. They advised I should try hypnotherapy, The next day I started doing some research and came across David's page I dropped him an email and booked in my first hypnotherapy session. I honestly didn't know what to expect but David was very professional, kind and made me feel at ease when talking about my symptoms. I've now completed my sessions and I'm so happy to say that my Vulvadynia has gone. I'm a 27 year old women who'd at one point given up all hope at finding a cure this has changed my life completely. If you're reading this review after tirelessly looking for a way to alleviate your pain then I would strongly suggest to book in a hypnotherapy session with David. .Thank you so much David for all your support and making me, feel like me again! Exam Anxiety
Struggling to get through an exam due to anxiety . One session with David and listened to his CD every night, I felt calmer an far more relaxed. And passed my exam. Very please. Thank you.

Weight Loss
When I spoke with Dr David he told me he could help me lose weight not by dieting but by actually changing my food preferences and tastes. He visited in my home and took me into the most wonderful state of relaxation, honestly it would have been worth paying just for that alone..
It is now two months later and I have lost eleven pound and I am not on a diet. I simply no longer like the crisps and chocolate.

I Am Cigarette Free
David told me he could help me quit smoking with just one session. I must admit I was rather skeptical as other therapists were telling me I would need multiple sessions.
He visited me in my home, and what can I say, it was just as he said, I haven't smoked since.
He only charged me £80!
