Our brains are fascinating; and neuroscience is helping us to understand more and more. The complexities of the human mind and body, has fascinated me ever since I studied Anatomy and Physiology in 2005. Learning about the different systems in the human body was an eye opening experience and I couldn’t believe that I had walked around in my body for so long, taking it for granted without realising how absolutely amazing it was. The nervous and endocrine systems I found particularly interesting and after being a reflexologist in Bath for years I felt that I should add another dimension to my practice.

I studied Solution Focuse Hypnotherapy under the watchful eye of David Newton and qualified with a Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy (DHP) in 2013. I am a Full member of the Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapists (AfSFH) and the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH) who have awarded me a Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma (HPD) to qualify for this you have to have submitted and had validated by the NCH a large portfolio of work and to continue being a full member you have to commit to undertake continual professional development throughout your career.

I have now no doubt in my mind that this therapy is extraordinary; coupling up methods from the psychotherapy Solution Focused Brief Therapy with Hypnotherapy is a quick and powerful way to make life changing developments in ones life.

Practicing as a Solution Focused Hypnotherapist in both Bath and in Atworth, Wiltshire, I have helped people turn their lives around from depression, severe anxiety, panic attacks, motivational issues, fears and phobias, performance anxieties, hair pulling, nail biting plus other issues and have helped the person to get going in the direction that they want. This is the most wonderful and rewarding thing to see, it’s a privilege to be working in this field and I look forward to a long and happy life helping others.
