About Loraine
I am a fully qualified Hypnotherapist, Psychotherapist and BWRT Practitioner. I also am a supervisor for fellow hypnotherapists.
CNHC Registered, I have always believed in a holistic approach to therapy, to be able to look at people as a whole, in mind, body and spirit. In 1994 I qualified as an Aromatherapist and thoroughly enjoyed working with this discipline. An Aromatherapist does not just massage, they listen, mix oils according to a persons state of mind as well as to help soothe ailments and so in 1997 I took my first classes in Counselling.
In 2016 I made the decision to concentrate on the talking therapies, Hypnotherapy, BWRT®, and Psychotherapy in my practice.
I am a Registered BWRT® (adv.) Practitioner, a new and exciting solution-focused behavioural psychotherapy.
I am fully qualified and have diplomas in Hypnotherapy and Counselling Skills, BWRT®, Aromatherapy and also Anatomy, Physiology & Body Massage. I also hold certificates in Hypnotherapy with Children, Online Therapy, Hypno-Birthing and Hypno-Gastric Band Therapy. I am member of the Hypnotherapy in Schools Programme (HISP).
I am on the CNHC Register and am also registered with several professional bodies being; the Association for Professional Hypnosis and Psychotherapy, the National Hypnotherapy Society, the Terence Watts Institute of Brainworking Recursive Therapy, and the National Register of Psychotherapists and Counsellors, and abide by all of the professional bodies strict codes of conduct. I have professional insurance and hold a current enhanced DBS certificate.
I regularly attend CPDs (Continual Professional Development) courses to enhance my skills and to keep them up to date.
I work from my clinic at home and online. All sessions are strictly by appointment only and I offer a free, no obligation, initial consultation.
