Training & Qualifications
Jolene Shields is certified as a Hypnotherapist with the National Guild of Hypnosis, with advanced education in the area of Complementary Medical Hypnosis. She recieved her training in Medical Hypnotherapy at the LDS Hospital Pain Clinic as a staff member from 1988-2000. She is a Certified HypnoBirthing instructor with the HypnoBirthing® Institute and was recently named to the HypnoBirthing Faculty Her 28 years of hypnotherapy experience include work at Positive Changes Hypnosis Center and work with the staff of the Utah School of Hypnosis. Her areas of expertise in the hypnosis field include chronic pain management, stress and anxiety reduction, insomnia, weight reduction, smoking cessation, athletic performance enhancement, improvement in study skills and HypnoBirthing®, and more.
