About Rekha
I am a certified rehabilitation counselor since 1995, Also, I have certification from NY state in Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counseling. I worked as a mental health therapist for more than 20 years at Unity Health Center. Additionally, I also worked as an Addiction counselor at Catholic Family Center, offering group and individual therapy. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and have successfully treated many clients from panic disorder, agoraphobia, OCD, ADHD, Depression. I also worked a s a Play therapist and worked with children at Unity Health System. I recently got certified in Hypnotherapy and started my private practice called Blossom Hypnosis. I have successfully treated physicians and offered hypnosis for procrastination, time management, pain management and phobias of oral board exam. These clients felt so good about the outcome of my treatment and now functioning very well in their respective profession.
I have a passion to help others. I also write blog post on my website www.cognitivehealing .com. I have covered many topics on mental health on my website.

I got certified at Roc Hypnosis by Jason Kropidlowski on June 14, 2015. I regularly attend the annual NGH conference and have learned a lot from the presenters. I apply my knowledge yo help my clients get better. I am also certified in Virtual Gastric Band Hypnosis for weight loss. I got this certification in Hamilton, Canada from JoAnne Eadie in Jan 2015. I ahave been practising the technique since then very successfully. I also organize Meet up groups and present on mental health topics. I have presented at out Finger Lakes NGH chapter of Rochester on a variety of topics related to hypnosis.
