Epilepsy Relaxation Hypnosis Script

Epilepsy is a condition that has been long misunderstood by society in general.

The fear of having a seizure in certain situations can sometimes trigger an attack in clients who are already epileptic.

Often, however, they will have a warning signal, e.g. they may become aware of a certain (usually unpleasant) smell that they find difficult to describe. This script/technique assumes that a warning smell is noticed prior to a seizure. The script combines hypnotherapy with the use of essential oils.

The olfactory sense is the oldest known to humankind. A possible explanation for the onset of a seizure is that they are attempting to access the source of the smell from a part of the brain that is inaccessible (which in turn triggers an epileptic fit).

This hypnosis script was based on research that described how essential oils could be used to replace the unpleasant smells. It also addresses relieving the fear of having an epileptic fit and has been tried and tested with successful results.
