Involuntary Retching Hypnosis Script

Retching is the act of trying to bring something up out of your stomach when there is nothing there to bring up. Usually, the sufferer will feel as though they want to be sick but can't be and it often leaves an unpleasant taste in the mouth and sometimes an aching chest from heaving.
Read MoreAs with all our health-related scripts, we strongly recommend that a client has been given the all-clear by a medical professional as usually, there will be a physical cause behind the action which could need intervention from their GP or specialist.
However there are times when retching can become a habit and the client feels a psychological need to retch. (This can also happen with vomiting, coughing and other symptoms which don't respond to medication). This Involuntary Retching hypnosis script will help your client to find the initial cause of their problem and respond to it appropriately. Please note that the script is an adaption of Hypnotic World's 'Anticipatory Nausea' script and the symptoms are very similar except that the latter doesn't always lead to retching.
Please note: this session is intended for relaxation purposes only. It is not a medical or therapeutic device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition or disease.
