Magic TV Script
Magical TV is a visualization that children and adults alike can identify with. You can also adapt the script by including a video or CD player and use a fast forward or rewind mind method to allow the subject to project into the future or go back to view past incidents. Ask client to close eyes until you tell them to open them and inquire about their favorite TV programme. When they have finished telling you, ask about the part of the TV programme that they enjoy most of all.
Imagine yourself at home in a very comfortable chair. You are feeling very calm and a little sleepy as you snuggle down into this chair. So, take a deep breath and just close your eyes as you go deeper into this lovely feeling.
Your chair is in front of the television and it is so nice and warm in this room that you find your mind drifting and dozing a little.
In a moment, with your eyes still closed, you will begin seeing your favorite TV programme on the screen.
And all the time you will feel calm, relaxed, peaceful and safe - and you can really enjoy watching this show.
Okay, I'm turning on the TV now, and in your mind you will see your favorite programme on the screen.
You will hear the sounds and experience the feelings, and really enjoy watching your favorite television programme.
You can continue watching that TV programme in your mind by keeping your eyes closed.
You don't even need to listen to what I' am saying, just continue to relax and enjoy your special programme by keeping your eyes closed until I tell you that it is fine to open them and to wake up.
At this point, you may want to test the trance depth of the child. You can do this by saying.
"As you watch your show, one of your fingers on your right/left hand moves straight out". Or you can ask what is happening in the programme.

In just a moment that programme will finish and we will change the channel.
You will continue moving into an even deeper state of relaxation.
You will be seeing a different programme that will show you how to overcome that problem and get rid of it completely. Your favourite character will be in this programme. You will see that they have been experiencing exactly the same problem as you have and they know just what needs to be done to overcome this.
The first programme is finishing now - reach for the remote and turn the TV over to the other channel.
You are continuing to feel more peaceful, and now you are seeing a totally different programme that is showing what has been causing that problem, and whatever it is that you need to do.
The picture is becoming much sharper and clearer - perhaps there is a theme tune at the beginning? If so, listen to the music.
Watch your favourite character - see what they are doing - hear what they say - know what they think and how they feel.
Notice how they deal with that problem - see what they do that is effective. Notice all the detail - where they are - who else, if anyone, is present and anything else that is relevant.
I will be quiet for a few moments while you really pay attention to what is happening on the TV.
Watch your programme for a few more minutes and see how your favourite character is dealing with that old problem of yours.
You are still feeling very calm and relaxed as you see how the star of the show deals with this issue. You now understand why you felt that way and you realize that you can overcome that problem completely - in fact, it will be so easy for you to get rid of that old problem of yours that you will wonder why you didn't do this a long time ago.
Perhaps you would like to see a future episode of this programme to see your favourite character feeling happy and confident, knowing that the problem you and they had is firmly in the past.

When your subconscious mind knows exactly how you can overcome your old problem you can turn off the TV and open your eyes - feeling wonderfully happy and ready to enjoy the rest of your day.
