Hi Ive been working with a young lad but struggle to get him to switch off and go under any advice?

Hi Sonia do you get int rapport with the young lad first... what i interests and use those as an induction and deepner and what do you mean by going under under what? Here to help if you need it..

If you are using progressive relaxation, and he's not responding well, then maybe he is more analytical, you could try a countdown from one hundred which will give his consciousness something analytical to focus on. Or instant hypnosis.
