Help needed w self hypnosis phrases

Can someone help me phrase some sentences to help me through a difficult challenge? When I am at work and about to speak, I suddenly feel very nervous and afraid that people can see I'm nervous. This makes me even more nervous. I have tried phrases focusing on self confidence. While they helped me a lot, it did not help with this specific issue. I have thought of phrases like "it is ok to be nervous", but I don't want to condition my subconscious towards even more nervousness. Or "I care less and less what others think of me" but I don't know if this negative way of phrasing will do any good... Thanks a lot in advance! :)

The more I speak, the better I am at speaking. I believe I'm excited to convey my point of view. It is my responsibility only to express my opinion. What I have to say is valuable and I'll say it well. The biological changes in your body for nervous and excited are quite similar. sweaty palms, increased heart rate, shorter breathing etc. So really if you are feeling like this, its just a question of what label to put on the feeling and you may care to consider that telling yourself your are excited to convey your point of view will usually deliver a better performance than when you are telling yourself you are nervous. It probably is excitement so why not just tell yourself you are excited to share you point of view. That feeling that you feel.... its excitement.

Hi Jessica, it sounds as though you may be focusing inwardly, perhaps worrying about not saying the right thing? I've found that even people who seem to be oozing self-confidence, often confess to not feeling that way inside. If you try and concentrate on who you are talking to and how they may be feeling, this should hopefully help.
