Fear of acne

Hi there, I have a client who suffered very badly from acne in their youth, and was bullied by their brother for it. They were made to feel disgusting and weren't protected by parents from this bullying. They now have their own children and one of them has terrible acne that doesn't bother them too much. However my client is disgusted by the sight of their child and desperately wants to 'fix' them. Their response to seeing their child is visceral, deeply emotional and disturbing. How would you suggest we tackle the problem? I work in a solution focused way but I'm not sure that some re-wind and re-frame might work best here
