Resistance or unable?

I am working with a 73 y.o. woman who has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's. She has a history of severe anxiety and she's more anxious and worried about losing her memory. The first hypnosis for anxiety session ended up in disaster ( i thought), she ended up lying on the floor on her stomach. I'm not sure if she's able to "focus". Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Kindly

It’s always been my understanding that those with Alzheimer’s, who are intellectually disabled, intoxicated or too young to understand we’re not candidates for hypnotherapy, so I’m interested to see if anyone has success with clients such as this

This is my understanding as well.
