Hi am a new practitioner and I have been approached by a client who has tinnitus. Has anybody had experience with tinnitus or suggestions for a plan of action?

Hello, I answer you from Spain. Sorry if my English has any errors. My initial approach with Tinnitus is to work on the person's acceptance of what happens to them. Tinnitus can have several causes (hearing loss due to aging, temporary problems due to stress, cervical tension, etc.). The generality is that people maintain hypervigilance with the symptom. It is good to start working on acceptance to reduce this hypervigilance and try to reduce anxiety. It is easy to find people who are in a state of hypercontrol who do not accept suffering from tinnitus. In the second stage I work on suggestions for habituation and its management. Here on this platform you have several for it
