Gastric Band Hypnosis
I have had a client recently where I have used the Gastric Band Hypnosis script and she has messaged me to say it hasn't worked for her. I have done it twice now and both times have failed. My gut feeling is that she doesn't believe that she can do this or expects the hypnosis to be a magic wand despite me explaining it to her. She does tend to fall asleep in the sessions but suggested for the last gastric band operation that she stays focused. Any support would be appreciated, thank you.

Kim, record her 20 min relaxation session and give her H/W to listen to your voice for 1 week, or so. She may also have more of analytical mindset, so I would do progressive relaxation with chalkboard and numbers. In addition, if she does not listen to the recording after the fact, she may not be able to see much of a progress.

Firstly, thank you for replying to my message. Secondly, apologies for the lateness in replying I have just returned from honeymoon so catching up. I have provided her with lots of relaxation recordings but she just falls asleep. We all know that the SC mind is always listening, but I think it is a bit of resistance - personally.
