14 year old soiling himself due to anxiety
Hello
Any ideas on how to treat a 14 year old boy who soils himself if he is unsure if a toilet is available in a new venue.

Hi Angie, I'm still a student but I have a child who had this issue in the past. I would obviously treat the anxiety. I would then suggest having him come up with things that he has control over like having an app on his phone where the bathrooms are or a change of clothes. You could also treat this as you would IBS. This is were I would start but hopefully you can get to how to help his self-esteem and any shame that is built up around this issue. Also any other areas of his life that may be driving it. I wish I had been a hypnotherapist when my son was going through this. You will do amazing at helping this poor fella!!
