Re: Client data GDPR

I base my client record retention period in accordance with my state public health record retention policy. In my instance it is 10 years from last service provision for adults, for minors it is 10 years from attaining the age of 18.

Hi, my tutor has told us that we are to destroy all records after the final session, unless the sessions are for medical reasons. In that case, records should be kept for 7 years. I hope that helps?

Whatever the laws are in your state, or part of the world. Combined with what works for you and your client, the best.
