Fear of swalling medication, pills or liquid

I'm starting work with a 15 yr. old teenager who until a year ago had no problem swallowing pills. One day she was taking a pill and a friend said, how can you take that, it's huge, aren't you afraid of choking? from that point on she has not been able to take any kind of medication. She also has a nervous stomach which started when she was about 8 yrs. old. If anyone has a script for the pill swallowing I would so appreciate knowing about it.. Many thanks. Hazel Palache. Maybe it’s better to crunch and dissolve the pills in water ?
