Hi, I am working with a lady who has traits of perfectionism that causes her stress at work and personal life. She has traits of OCD too. I have doe 3 sessions with her using ego strengthening, parts therapy but she still finds difficult to move forward. Can you please advise how to proceed? Thanks.

Hi I had a similar client and it really wasn’t the perfectionist attitude that was the issue I found that her past upbringing was what she needed to release as her parents never acknowledged her efforts The parents only condemned her telling her it was never good enough so she developed the perfection behavior I would look deeper into clients past why does the client feel it has to be perfect all the time
