Anxiety causing sleep problems
Hello all,
I have been on anti depression meds for some time (very low dose) and decided to get off them. I am getting anxiety waves but managing to deal with it during the day and go on with my life. The problem is at night, I am not sure how to ignore it when I am laying in bed and this is becoming a problem since I don't get good sleep and that in turn causes me to get depressed.
I went to see a hypnotherapist but could not get relaxed because I also suffer from social anxiety to some degree and could not stop thinking that the hypnotherapist is looking at me.
I do find it very helpful when I listen to samples MP3 so I am wondering if it will be effective treatment to get someone to talk to and have this person record treatment for me?
Thanks,
Jim
Re: Anxiety causing sleep problems
Hi Jim, I'm sorry to hear about your problem. Have you tried writing your anxieties down on a piece of paper and putting them under your bed before going to sleep and following this with an insomnia or Deep Relaxation hypnosis audio.
