Alice in Wonderland syndrome

i sustained traumatic brain injury in 2002, i was placed on xanax for over stimulated nervous system. i was extremely over sensitive to light, sounds, touch, and almost all kinds of stimuli, the more stimuli the more anxiety i felt, after being controlled with xanax use for years, i was told i had AIWS when i would not take my medicine and the withdrawl effects from missing the xanax would start. the symptoms would be a mis perception in objects, especially distance, feeling like cars were bigger and closer and about to hit me, also it felt like sounds were very loud and pronounced. i will sometimes see my finggers looking very long, i will also becomevery sensitive to touch, the slightest touch will feel like bugs on me, it is very well controlled as long as i take the medicine. I feelthe AIWS is directly related to benzodiazapinewithdrawl inmy case, andyes if i dont take the med, it gets worse and a severe migraine is sure to folow
