Hiccups --need help with suggestions for a severe case of chronic hiccups that have lasted 1 and 1/2 years (on and off.)

Ma'am, I too suffer from chronic bouts with hiccups. Through trial and error and actually some bit of joking with my fiance I have come to realize rhat the only thing that cures my servere hiccups is a shot ov vodka. Really, this is not a joke at all. I have been suffering from an episode of hiccups when going out for a "casino night" and just said heck with it and took a shot of grey goose"my preferred drink" and funny enough, hiccups were gone. Later I joked " only thing that helps is the goose". Laughed about it and went on. Later when the opportunity arose agian, one shot swisher around and swallowed without a chaser and boom, no hiccups. I have done this over and over now and it is my go to when life permits. Now, I am convinced that it works and I would like anyone else who suffers like I do to just try it. What do you have to loose. All I am saying is it works every time for me. I hope you can see that I am serious and only hope that this might help others. Give it a try and tell me if I am a genius or just a guy looking for a reason to take a shot. Haha really, I hope it helps you and anyone else who might read this. Thank you. Cameron Pruett
