Introducing the Media Player

Add relaxing background music and sound effects to your hypnotherapy sessions with the new Hypnotic World Media Player.

Exclusively for members, the new Media Player features original relaxation music, which has been developed especially for use in hypnotherapy sessions. To play the music, simply sign into your Hypnotic World on a computer, tablet or smartphone, open the Media Player and stream the tracks you need for your in-person sessions.

A number of relaxing tracks are already available to play in the Media Player library, including tracks from the enchanting Halcyon Revival CD and the calming Island Meditation CD.

You can also access a range of sound effects which have been created to enhance your sessions. Therapists offering gastric band hypnosis to clients can complement their sessions with a range of hospital-themed audio clips to further engage clients in the hypnotic experience.

Accessing the Media Player

To use the Media Player, you need to be a Hypnotic World member. If you are not yet a member, create an account.

Members can use the Media Player by following the steps below:

• Sign into your Hypnotic World account on a computer, tablet or mobile device.

• On the Members’ Area navigation bar (below the main navigation bar), click ‘Media Player’. On a mobile device, you may need to click the right-hand button to the right of ‘My Account’.

• The Media Player page will then open. Use the Albums panel to select a product from the available albums, then select a track from an album and click the play button to begin streaming.

Using the Media Player

You can play, pause or navigate the current track using the audio navigation buttons. You can also learn more about individual albums, or order a CD copy of an album, using the ‘About this CD’ button.

CDs containing music tracks combined with sound effects (e.g. the Gastric Band Hypnotherapy Background Audio Effects album) also include listening notes. Click the Listening Notes button where displayed to view the timing of sound effects in the main track. This will enable you to plan your hypnotherapy session in conjunction with individual sound effects.

Note: If you wish to play tracks from a mobile device, we recommend streaming over a wi-fi connection to avoid incurring mobile data usage fees where these apply.
