Script Summary:
This script is designed for children between the age of 4 - 9, depending of course on level of maturity and understanding.
Note: This Child Stuttering script can be memorized as best as possible and told to a child by a trusted caregiver in story form.
Induction and deepeners are not always necessary with children of this age group but if you decide to use one then we recommend the Magic Carpet induction to precede the main script.
The script is based on the premise that the brain races ahead of the mouth. This might not apply to all children who stutter.
