Carla was ecstatic when her plans to get her driving license fell into place. Her dreams of being mobile and on the go were about to come true. The only obstacle between Carla and her dream was the theory driving test. When she was younger such things came easily to Carla. But now Carla found herself unusually stressed, anxious, and even experiencing panic attacks while merely studying for the big exam. She was all too aware that the results could make or break her future. Carla was afraid that her long time dream would slip through her fingers if she failed.
After watching fear threatening to overtake her ambition Carla's mother offered a wild card potential solution. A hypnotherapist had recently opened an office in her building. Rather than watching her daughter continue to struggle she took a chance and arranged for an appointment for Carla to meet with the hypnotherapist. Nervous but determined to let nothing stand in her way Carla gave it a try.
Since no one she knew had ever experienced therapeutic hypnosis Carla had little idea what to expect that first visit. The hypnotherapist set her mind at ease when he explained how hypnotic suggestion works. He was happy to answer all of Carla's questions especially her worry about not being in control of her own thoughts. When he explained that at no point would she lose ‘control' of her thoughts or ‘lose' her personality Carla was surprised how relieved she felt.
Sitting back in the comfortable lounge chair Carla was easily led into a light hypnotic state. The hypnotherapist's calming voice helped her let tension slip from her body. In this relaxed state Carla was ready to absorb suggestions that would diminish her test taking anxiety.

To Carla's great joy she not only passed the test but came away with a score impressive enough to qualify her for insurance discounts.
