Breastfeeding an Adopted Baby Hypnosis Script

If you are a hypnotherapist then your client already knows about all the health benefits that breast feeding has for babies, having extensively researched it. Breast milk is so good that even a small amount in addition to formula can make a tremendous difference in a baby's health.

Breast milk reduces the probability of problems such as ear infections, chronic constipation, diarrhea and different skin disorders.

Even the action of a baby suckling on its mother's warm, soft nipple has such a good soothing effect that even a dummy cannot replace.

However your client is adopting, therefore has not had the many pregnancy hormones circulating through her body, which stimulate the production of milk a few days after birth.

She can still breastfeed her adopted baby.

If she knows in advance that she is going to receive a baby in a few months time she can start pumping to promote the production of milk.

However pumps do not express from the breast in the same way that a baby does, as they don't cause the same emotional response that triggers the production of lactation hormones and just because she can only obtain a few drops from a pump, this is not an indication of how much a baby will extract. Besides which, many adoptive parents do not know in advance that they are about to receive a baby until after the birth, and they can still manage to successfully produce milk.
