Asthma Relaxation Hypnosis Script

Asthma is a chronic condition that affects the respiratory system. During an asthma attack the airways, (which carry oxygen in and out of the lungs), begin to constrict and so reduce the flow of oxygen entering the lungs. The airways can also become inflamed and mucus-lined. Those symptoms may occur several times a day or week, or a lot less often. The severity of the attacks also varies however it is a distressing condition which unfortunately, seems to be on the increase.

Recent studies have shown hypnosis to be effective for helping people to manage their asthma attacks and the frequency of them.

Studies have also shown that negative emotions such as panic, stress and depression can adversely affect the respiratory system and bring on an asthma attack in people suffering from this condition.

Hypnosis can help to reduce stress and boost the immune system. It has also been shown to minimize pain and discomfort.

This hypnosis script is not a replacement for medical treatment but may be used to complement the treatment you (or your client) are receiving from your GP.
