Script Summary:
If your client has been diagnosed with placenta previa then this means that her placenta is lying unusually low in her uterus.
In early pregnancy this is not a problem, however when it occurs later on then there is a risk of bleeding which can also lead to other problems and may result in a caesarean section.
The placenta is shaped like a pancake and supplies the baby with essential nutrients through the umbilical cord, in a normal pregnancy it lies higher in the uterus but when it covers the cervix it is referred to as a total previa or, when slightly offside is known as a partial or marginal previa.
When treating your clients with Placenta Previa you will need a suitable approach; this script uses the mind-body connection approach to help your clients to connect with their body before her baby is born.
